Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age. (Matthew 28:19-20)
SBECC focuses on the teaching of Truth and helps believers to have a correct understanding of God’s Word and the ability to discern (Ephesians 4:14), to reach the goal of being rooted and built up in the Lord (Colossians 2:7), to promote spiritual growth, and to live a life of good testimony to glorify God (Romans 8:29, Acts 1:8).
First, the elder-deacon team prays together, seeks the guidance of the Holy Spirit, and discovers the gifts of brothers and sisters, and works together to build the body of the Lord.
The Sunday platform is to convey the message of God. In addition to inviting biblical scholars or ministers with pastoral experience, it also provides opportunities for the church’s co-workers to practice.
According to the vision, SBECC has a theme every year. For example, for 2023, it was “Walking with the Lord“; for 2024, it was “Live by Faith”; and for 2025, it is “Yoked Together”. The Sunday messages also seek to match the theme, help the congregation to think deeply, and renew the spirit through teaching.
